Frequently asked questions

How is GPA calculated?

GPA = Σ(grade points × credits) ÷ Σ credits. An A (4.0) in a 4-credit course counts more than in a 2-credit one.

Does A+ count as more than 4.0?

At most institutions A+ = 4.0, but some use 4.3. We use 4.0 - check your school's policy.
