Split a PDF the way you actually need to

Splitting a PDF means different things at different moments: pulling one signed page out of a twenty-page contract, breaking a scanned book into chapters, or separating every page into its own file. This tool covers all of it - extract a single page, a range like 5-12, or burst the whole document into individual pages - and it does the work inside your browser, so the PDF is never uploaded to anyone's server.

That privacy matters precisely because the documents people split are the sensitive ones: leases, statements, medical results, legal filings. Here they stay on your machine from open to download.

Extract, range, or burst

To keep just part of a document, enter a page range and get a new PDF containing only those pages, in order. To break a document apart, burst it into one file per page - handy when a scanner saved a whole stack as a single PDF and you need each form separately. Page numbering follows the document as you see it, so page 1 is the first page, not a zero-indexed surprise.

The original is never modified; splitting always produces new files and leaves your source untouched, so there's no way to lose the complete version.

Split, then merge or compress
