Frequently asked questions
Fit-to-image or A4 - which layout?
Fit-to-image makes each page exactly the image's size (best for photos). A4 centers each image on a standard page (best for printing and documents).
Are my photos private?
Yes - the PDF is assembled in your browser. Your images are never uploaded.
Is there a watermark or page limit?
No watermarks, no limits, no sign-up. Free means free.
Turn photos and scans into a proper PDF
Forms, receipts, whiteboards and IDs usually start life as phone photos - but almost every official process wants a PDF. This converter turns one JPG or a whole batch into a single, correctly-ordered PDF document, entirely in your browser. Because nothing is uploaded, it's safe for exactly the documents this is most used for: identity documents, signed forms and financial paperwork.
Getting a clean result from phone photos
Each image becomes one page, fitted to the page automatically without stretching - portrait photos get portrait pages, landscape photos landscape pages, so nothing is cropped or distorted. Drag the thumbnails to reorder pages before converting; the PDF follows your arrangement exactly.
For the best-looking output from photographed (rather than scanned) documents, take the photo straight-on in even light, and crop it to the paper's edges first with our Crop Image tool. If a photo came out slightly rotated, fix it with Rotate Image before converting - it's much cleaner than rotating the PDF page afterwards.
JPG to PDF vs. scanning apps
Scanner apps often compress aggressively, stamp watermarks, or require a subscription to export multi-page PDFs. Converting your camera photos directly keeps the full image quality your phone captured, costs nothing, and works for any number of pages. The output is a standard PDF accepted by government portals, job applications and email systems alike. Need the file smaller afterwards? Run it through Compress PDF - the pair covers the whole scan-to-send workflow.
