Volume Booster

Make quiet audio louder - up to 4× with a built-in limiter.

How to use

  1. Drop in the quiet audio file.
  2. Set the boost level and preview.
  3. Download the louder version as MP3 or WAV.

Frequently asked questions

Will boosting distort the audio?

A limiter tames peaks to reduce clipping, but heavily boosted loud passages can still sound squashed - boost only as much as needed.

Why is my recording quiet in the first place?

Usually low mic gain or distance from the mic. Boosting also raises background noise - 1.5-2.5× is the practical sweet spot.
